This watch is excellent value. I’ve really enjoyed the look and feel of the watch. The green color is great with the dial texture giving it even more depth and color variations depending on the light. The lume is also good and makes it easily through the night. I’m still working on determining the movement quality with respect to accuracy over time.

Superior Design. Exceptional Finish. Tremendous Value.

This is a "desk diver" for me, as my new Østersøen Havgrøn will likely not exceed swimming pool depth with me, but it is clearly built for 200 meters. I was impressed by images during the launch campaign but upon opening the box my expectations were exceeded in every way. The beautiful padded cork snap case is an elegant storage accessory. The thoughtfully included precision screwdriver made adjusting the bracelet simple and quick.
The bracelet itself is beautifully polished steel, with pivoting screw-pin links and a wonderful sliding ratchet fine adjustment under the logo clasp. It tapers from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the clasp so it doesn't feel bulky or massive on the wrist. Every part and every side is beautifully polished to a matte or mirror finish.
But it's the dial that shines. Remarkably detailed with simple lumed arrow hands over a finely wave-engraved surface, it's all business, but there is beauty in this beast as well. Polished applied indices and just a hint of orange on the sweep seconds hand make it easy to read, and give a classic diver watch look, but with a bit of elegance as well. It's easy to wear and easy to adjust and very easy on the eyes.
Our Austin MLS team, Austin FC rocks a bright verde" kit, the reason I chose this beautiful green dial. I had thoughts about seeking a green silicone strap, but the bracelet is so perfect I think it stays on full time.
This is a LOT of watch for the money. Two days on and I am delighted to wear watch number 00008 proudly on my wrist!. The collage of images is taken from various web sources--I make one of these descriptive photo arrays for most of the 30+ watches I own.
